Vijay Bhagwati

Attorney Vijay Bhagwati is the Founder and Managing Partner of the law firm Bhagwati and Bhagwati, P.C. and heads Immigration and Corporate Law Practice of the Firm from its New York and New Jersey offices. He is is one of the leading experts in US Business Immigration Law and Corporate Law. He commenced his legal career in 1993 after completion of his law degree.

His legal career spans for over 28 years with a foundation in Bachelor of Science, Masters in English Literature followed by Law Degrees LL.B (JD-HPU) and LL.M from NYU, USA. Since 2010 after setting up the firm, as Managing Partner, he has grown and expanded the firm’s original immigration-based focus into a full-service law firm.

He has represented clients before the Federal Courts, Board of immigration appeals, Administrative Appeals Office and USCIS. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and its Federal Court Litigation and Removal Defense Sections.

Mr. Bhagwati has been admitted to practice as an attorney in the state of New York. Mr. Bhagwati is also admitted to practice law in India.
