I would absolutely NOT recommend Daniela’s legal services.
It was mistake, and an ENORMOUS waste of time and money. She has charged over 7000 euros in less than a year for almost nothing, and it was a stressful experience throughout.

I came to Daniela (October 2022) after my ex-wife left Dubai with my child during the pandemic and wouldn’t allow me any contact with my son. After coming to Slovakia for my first court hearing (February 2023, 4 months after starting the case), Daniela managed to get me a temporary (interim) order from the judge to speak to my son once a week for an hour amongst other things while the case is under process.

My ex-wife did NOT comply with most of the order (cutting the calls after 5 minutes, not showing up etc…). I was told to keep documenting the interactions as it would “look” negatively on her.
The follow up hearing was set for April 2023 (6 months since the case started), I booked a hotel, a flight, a car.. but LESS than 24 hours before the hearing, after I had already arrived in Slovakia and taken time off work to attend the hearing, Daniela sends me an email to tell me the judge is sick and the hearing has been cancelled.
The next hearing is then set for July 2023 (9 months since the case started, and 5 months since my first and only hearing) because of supposed construction and renovation of the courts and some events.
Then a few weeks before that re-scheduled hearing, Daniela sent me ANOTHER email to say that hearing is ALSO now cancelled as they are changing jurisdiction to a court closer to where my ex-wife lives (although her address had not changed which begs the question why it was lodged in Bratislava in the first place).

So here we are, in October 2023 (ONE YEAR since I started the case, 8 MONTHS since my first hearing), and I have just received the new case file number in the other court. I haven’t spoken to my son in months, but her bills kept coming. Suffice to say, I have withdrawn and cancelled all legal representation after I got tired of being ripped off and treated like an idiot.

In summary, after one year, I’ve had ONE initial hearing, I’ve had two cancelled hearings, an interim order that is worthless and that my ex-wife does not follow, and have lost OVER 7000 euros, not counting the white hair I’ve gotten from all this stress. When I expressed my concern, all Daniela had to say is it’s not her problem if my ex-wife doesn’t follow orders, or that the courts cancelled hearings.

Overall, this was a terrible experience, even if she herself is not unpleasant.
I would highly advise you to save your hard-earned cash and find a much more professional and experienced lawyer, most importantly one that will genuinely care about their cases and that knows the insides and out of the Slovak legal system.
