Brent Poirier

Attorney Brent Poirier, founder and Head Lawyer at Poirier Immigration Law, based in New Hampshire and representing clients from all over the world in US immigration and citizenship matters. He does not accept cases involving deportation, undocumented entry into the United States or for people who are in jail or immigration custody. He also does not do business, H-1B or investor visas and suggests you locate another attorney for these matters as well. His practice is limited to family and fiancée visas and US citizenship.

After graduating from Loyola-Marymount University and the law school at the University of the Pacific, Attorney Brent Poirier was licensed in California and practiced law there before moving to New Mexico, where he was the founder and first President of the Section of International and Immigration Law. Attorney Brent Poirier has contributed to books on immigration law and given presentations to attorneys about immigration law and about legal ethics.

The immigration authorities authorize attorneys licensed in any of the 50 states to practice immigration law. Mr. Poirier is licensed by the Supreme Court of New Mexico (Bar #3113) and limits his practice to immigration law. He has successfully assisted people from more than 50 countries with their immigration needs over the course of his more than 35 years of law practice.
