Rupal Parikh

Attorney Rupal Parikh, founder and Head Lawyer at The Law Office of Rupal Parikh, handles matters related to immigration law, family law and conducts divorce mediations. Attorney Rupal Parikh is licensed to practice in the States of New Jersey and Louisiana and handles immigration matters throughout the United States.

A native of Gujarat, India, Attorney Rupal Parikh immigrated to the United States in 1979 with her immediate family. In 1993, Rupal graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University. In 1997, she earned her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Rupal went on to earn her L.L.M. in Transnational Law from the James Beasley School of Law at Temple University in 1999.

Attorney Parikh has worked defending the legal rights of immigrants for over 20 years. Prior to entering into private practice, Rupal was employed as a staff attorney at Nationalities Service Center (NSC), a Philadelphia nonprofit agency that services immigrants and refugees. 

In 2000, Attorney Parikh was awarded the prestigious Independence Foundation Fellowship. Through the fellowship Rupal provided comprehensive legal representation to unaccompanied minors housed in detention facilities throughout the State of Pennsylvania.

After working in several private firms, Attorney Parikh embarked upon her solo practice in 2006, founding this law firm. The Law Office of Rupal Parikh is located in Montclair, New Jersey.  

Attorney Rupal Parikh is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Essex County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Society of International Law.
